Workshop on theme ``PRIVATIZATION OF UTILITY COMPANIES''

In the framework of the Fair "Water - water supply systems -sanitary technology, today the workshop on the theme " Privatization of utility companies " was held.

It covers the following topics:

- Snezana Didanović , BSc bio., independent advisor in the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment spoke about the program of ‘’privatization of enterprises in the field of utility services''

- Radovan Tavzes, Utility expert at the Ministry of Physical Planning and Environment spoke about ‘’the comparative analysis of legislation in Montenegro and the EU Directive when it comes to privatization of utility companies''

- Mladen Brajović BSc ecc., the President of the Assembly of the Association VIK of MNE presented the theme of''Viewing the privatization of utility companies’’

- Radovan Tavzes, utilities expert at the Ministry of Physical Planning and Environment spoke on the theme ‘’Slovenia experience in privatizing utility companies''

- Zoran Sabanovic BSc civ.con., Manager of Public Water Supply and Sewerage''''Herceg Novi spoke about ''Experiences of Herceg Novi Municipality''.

One of the conclusions when it comes to privatization of utility companies in Montenegro, is that it is necessary to undertake a range of activities in the implementation of privatization programs, such as auditing business service, estimates the value of capital service, study prior privatization restructuring, based on the same and the status service design, production plans for the development of utility services, defining the basic regulatory solutions (institutional, economic, regulatory procedures), defining the final proposal pricing policy utilities, depending on the decisions of local governments and other activities follow: the tender procedure, etc. / international financial and Legal consultants for hire, where the most optimal technique proposed by public auction and recapitalizations.
